Spring!
My partner’s father was just visiting from Brazil for a few weeks, so we got to play tour guide a little bit and enjoy the nice spring weather in the process. I take pretty much the exact same springtime photos every year, but what can I do? They make me happy. I thought I’d share a few of them with you:

I hope the weather’s nice wherever you are; if not, I hope you can at least curl up with a good book over the long weekend. To those of you who celebrate it, have a great Easter weekend. See you next week!
Happy Spring! It almost feels like summer here, but it is supposed to cool off a little. Pictures like that make me happy too.
ReplyDeleteBeaaaautiful pictures. The blossom trees are so pretty right now. And you're better off away from the random snow and hail weather we've been having.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter and Happy Spring! Looking at these beautiful pictures makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pictures! And I know what you mean about self-pictures. Personally, I like cell phone pics because they're fuzzier! :--)
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures! I think that if I ever get to live in a country that has four seasons, spring would probably be my favorite. It's summer over here and really hot (nothing new there) but it's a long weekend as well so yay, getting a lot of reading done. Happy Easter. :)
ReplyDeleteI think you look beautiful! And so is all that nature - everything is just bursting with color and vibrance. I especially love the bird and the toad!
ReplyDeleteIt felt like spring for about a week over here, but now it's back to cold weather. I'm sure you're glad to be back in Portugal hearing about that :) Beautiful pictures. And also, you shouldn't feel uncomfortable posting pictures of yourself, but I do understand.
ReplyDeleteAnd can I see: fruit salad on a picknick sounds perfect.
Gorgeous photos...I love the cherry blossoms! (At least, I think that's what they were.. ^_^) Spring is in full bloom that's for certain. The weather can't seem to make up its mind over my way but that's alright, we'll take what we can get. Have a great weekend...and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI love spring! Those photos are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures! We still have some snow over here, but at least the sun is shining. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great Easter weekend!
Such lovely photos Ana! And finally a picture of you on your blog.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs! I wish I could see YOU better, as I think I would adore your outfit.
ReplyDeleteStrange, but I just noticed yesterday that I only like pictures of myself when I take them in a mirror. I guess I only like myself in reverse? Does that even make sense? C'est ma vie. *sigh*
These pictures are so amazingly gorgeous! Have a great weekend, Ana!
ReplyDeleteI take the same springtime photos too. I always love them. It's going to be a really beautiful weekend here -- everything is in bloom and it feels especially nice to see the sun. I hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely glorious, Ana! What a day...it looks borrowed from heaven.
ReplyDeleteAw, I love that picture of you! I saw a butterfly outside today, so spring is definitely in the air here, too. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! The colors are amazing.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures make me happy too! Thank you for sharing them with us Nymeth. Enjoy your Easter weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love blossom, but must admit the toad is definitely the best picture, love it :-)
ReplyDeleteThese photos are gorgeous! I just love those cherry blossoms, the color is so prtty and the flower shape delicate but vibrant. Definitely an indication that Spring is here.
ReplyDeleteLove the garden in your photos and you look waonderful!
Thank you for sharing the photos from your day of touring.
Love these photos, and think that you did an amazing job capturing them!
ReplyDeleteYayyy, spring! All the flowers! The Japanese magnolias have always been my favorites of the spring flowers, but the cherry blossoms are absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDelete(I'm with Heather -- I can't see it well enough to say for sure, but I'm pretty sure I love your outfit.)
Lovely pictures,Nymeth! You look like a librarian. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh but dear Ana you are gorgeous! (and I love your outfit!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. I am thrilled that spring is here!
Beautiful blossoms! You're far ahead of us. Look at your tulips too. Gorgeous photos, thanks so much, Nymeth! Happy spring to you too :-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! The flowering trees here are just getting ready to burst into bloom. We got frost last night though so there may not be much bursting this year. Thanks for sharing the pics!
