Comments: I bet you thought I'd fallen asleep. But no! I was just too caught up in Fables to update. I finished Homelands and now I know who the Adversary is! Funny thing is, I got this total sense of deja-vu when it was revealed. So I wonder if it was actually revealed before and I'd forgotten, or if I read a spoiler somewhere.

After I was done with Fables, I finished the lovely Goodbye, Tsugumi. This book reminds me of Lightheaded. I wonder if that's because I know she likes it. But I think it's something about the writing.

I think this might be it as far as reading is concerned for me. My next co-hosting shift starts in an hour and a half, and I'm considering taking a quick nap before that. Did I mention it's almost 5:30am? Because IT IS. Also, above is a picture of my cat having a Sleep-a-thon. It was actually taken yesterday, but I swear he's in the exact same position right now.

Hmm... to take a nap, to visit my fellow readers, or to read a story from The Birds and Other Stories. We'll see.

  3. Cute cat. My kitten is clawing at my legs as I type this. He's proving to be a challenge to train.

It's a short story related challenge, which I see you've been reading today, so please stop by.

  7. I think there was a telling line or two in MARCH OF THE WOODEN SOLDIERS; maybe that's where the deja vu came from?

  14. Glad to hear you've enjoyed Fables so much. The adversary didn't really surprise me, either. I guess they kind of dropped hints and built up to it, so we knew who it was going to be. :)
