Comments: I finished Faerie Tale! The ending was intense, but a few things about it were a little disappointing. All in all, though, still a evry enjoyable book. Now I'm reading the Terry Jones book, and my number of pages increased because it has lots of pretty pictures by Michael Foreman. It's a tiny book (80 pages), so I should finish it within the next hour. I will also grab some dinner and visit my fellow read-a-thoners. I hope everyone's having a great time!

  1. I have stopped reading as my mind told me to rest. After a long working day, I couldn't take it any more. You are doing well.

    Have fun, reading!

  2. Glad you (mostly) enjoyed your first book. It's nice to mix it up with something smaller with illustrations. Enjoy your dinner.

  3. Graphic novels thats the ticket! hehehe.. glad you are having so much fun!!!

  4. There is always time for petting the cats!

    Keep it up :)

  5. Good job. We should have a pet-a-cat-a-thon!

  6. I think I should have stocked up on some graphic novels :)

You are doing great Nymeht... Enjoy your dinner. I'm take a bit of a break, going to make some coffee and get back to my book.

  7. yep, i think i too will be stocking up on graphic novels next time! You're doing great Nymeth, sounds like you're having fun anyway! :-)

  8. Good idea to take a little walk--I think I'll do the same!

  9. My back was starting to hurt too! I'm getting tired already which is NOT good...I think I need to switch from cokes to strong coffee again!

  10. If your kitties anything are like our kitties, I'll bet you're doing a lot of petting while you're reading, too!

  11. Debi, my cat abandoned me *cries* Well, he was here for the first 9 hours and I expect he'll be back later, but I wanted to sound dramatic for a bit :P

Thanks for the comments, everyone! Fantastic Stories is not a graphic novel, just a collection of short stories with illustrations, but I do have some graphic novels saved for later!

  12. The fur kids definitely need attention plus it's a good tension breaker. Good for you on finishing up your book. Keep it up!

  14. Oh no! I'm sorry to hear the stories were a little disappointing.

And I keep forgetting to walk around as well! Sounds like a good plan.

  15. you're so lucky to have a cat to pet...I should go for a walk too, but it's dark outside!
happy reading, the night is starting:)
